To all Taekwondo New Zealand members and Representatives of Taekwondo Organizations in New Zealand

Subject: TNZ membership, elections and way forward

Date: 12th March 2018

Dear Members and Representatives of Taekwondo Organizations in New Zealand,

Thank you for your patience regarding the normalisation of Taekwondo NZ going forward.

I know it has been a long process but I am happy to report there has been some hard work done by the Interim Board, and we are almost ready to hold an election. In preparation of these elections, the Interim Board has been working on a new Constitution that will be distributed to you shortly.

I will visit New Zealand on the occasion of the Budo South Open 2019. With this letter, I would like to invite all representatives of Taekwondo Organizations in New Zealand that have intentions to join TNZ to meet with me in 1 on 1 meetings. I am available in Tauranga from 11 to 14 April and in Christchurch from 16 and 17 April. If you would like to meet with me to discuss future steps, please send me a direct email at kenneth@worldtaekwondoeurope.org. A meeting will then be scheduled.

With regard to the TNZ membership, I can inform you that World Taekwondo has approved the criteria for TNZ membership. Each member has to register name, gender, date of birth and pay a $10.00 NZ annual membership fee in order to become a member of TNZ.. I hope this clarifies the requirements and look forward to your registrations and ongoing membership in TNZ for many years to come.
